The Gunners have had a quiet winter transfer window and that is not expected to change before the deadline.
Sky Sports reporter Gary Cotterill has revealed that there will be no ins and outs before the window closes.
He said: "I'm told and it is my understanding that there will be no ins and no outs today at Arsenal and indeed in the whole of January. No business, we understand, at Arsenal."
Arsenal were interested in landing Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins last week, but their offer was instantly rebuffed.
The Gunners have not returned with a renewed bid and they are now likely to wait until the summer to spend huge sums.
A new centre-forward remains the top priority for manager Mikel Arteta, but a defensive midfielder could also be signed.
The club are also likely to sign a versatile winger for next season.
